Prime Minister Modi Boosts Healthcare with Five New AIIMS Institutes
In a significant step towards strengthening India’s healthcare infrastructure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated five new All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) across the country. These institutes, located in Rajkot (Gujarat), Bathinda (Punjab), Raebareli (Uttar Pradesh), Kalyani (West Bengal), and Mangalagiri (Andhra Pradesh), will provide advanced medical care and education to millions of citizens.
The new AIIMS institutes boast state-of-the-art facilities, including spacious hospital complexes, well-equipped operation theatres, and dedicated medical colleges. Each institute will offer a range of super specialty services, catering to various medical needs.
This initiative is expected to improve access to quality healthcare, particularly for residents in these regions. The addition of 500 new medical college seats will also contribute to addressing the shortage of medical professionals in India.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the government’s commitment to building a robust healthcare system for all. He emphasized that these new AIIMS institutes are a testament to the government’s vision of a “healthy India.”
The establishment of these institutes marks a crucial step forward in India’s journey towards providing accessible and high-quality healthcare to its citizens. This initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the lives of millions of people, offering them greater access to specialized medical care and contributing to a healthier future for the nation.
